Sometimes I’m wondering what Arwen was doing all that time before she met Aragorn. Just imagine: She was two thousand years old when they met. Two thousand years! It’s not like a teenage girl whose life has just begun. She already had a long life… I like to think that it was full and exciting. Friends? Sure. Some things she liked to do, some things that were important for her… I think she was the one who took things seriously, even passionately. I wonder what it was.
She could even have had other love – a tragic story, of course (though romance is not the most interesting subject for me). But in general – such a huge scope for imagination, these two thousand years! That’s what fanfiction is meant for…
